Si son carnavales te metes en tu casa o te vas a un pueblo pequeño, o simplemente al extrarradio de la ciudad y ya estás a salvo. Pero es que en Navidad, te metes en tu casa, pones la tele, la radio o abres internet y hasta las webs de cualquier cosa salen con su campanita y su guirnalda. Vas a comprar el pan para el día y hay el doble de gente, y la gente compra el doble de pan, y en la carnicería te toca esperar el doble porque la gente está haciendo encargos especiales. En el super han cambiado tus madalenas por polvorones, los pasillos están llenos de chicas ofreciendo degustaciones de paté, de ahumados, de dulces o de lo que sea. Los Papa Noeles escuálidos te abordan por la calle para venderte lo que sea.

¿Y qué me dices de los villancicos en los comercios? Mal el resto del año que te tienes que tragar el hilo musical correspondiente tan fuera de contexto: por ejemplo el escuchar a tu grupo de música favorito mientras estás eligiendo unas latas de atún.
Y del "Felíz Navidad, qué paséis unos buenos días en familia y bla, bla, bla..." que te suelta cualquiera aunque apenas lo conozcas, o en los comercios...
Y que te levantes el día de Navidad y digas "Me voy al centro deportivo a hacer unos largos en la piscina como cualquier domingo. Oh, no, está cerrada".
Y que aparques el coche para ir en transporte público el día de Nochebuena a cualquier sitio y, a la vuelta, "Oh, sorpresa, el horario se termina a las dos de la tarde. Vuelva usted andando"

Uy, 15 días o 20 dice, pues qué suerte! Donde yo vivo, el día después de Halloween empieza "oficialmente" la invasión. "Extraoficialmente" empieza incluso antes. Este año entré en una floristería a primeros de septiembre y ya estaban vendiendo árboles de navidad. Y hay una marca de adornos navideños que empieza en agosto.
Hace unos años visité Edimburgo y vi que había una tienda de adornos navideños que está abierta todo el año. No me gusta la navidad, pero me hizo gracia. Luego seguí andando y me topé con otra. Ya no me hizo gracia. Una es una extravagancia simpática. Dos ya es una costumbre. Y no.

No soporto el "que paséis una buena noche". Y el resto del día qué? Que lo paséis fatal o qué?
No aguanto la hipocresía de la gente y sobre todo la de las familias. No te ves en el resto del año, no te soportas, te da igual cómo les va la vida, ¿y por qué demonios te tienes que reunir en navidad? La policía esos días no da abasto de todas las llamadas que tienen que atender por trifulcas familiares. ¿Por qué se sigue empeñando todo el mundo en esta farsa?
Yo hace mucho que vivo fuera de España y al principio volvía por navidad por aquello de tener la fiesta en paz. Ya hace años que ni me molesto. Sé que tengo varios tíos y primos que me ponen pingando por hacerles este feo, pero son precisamente ellos a los que menos me apetece ver, con lo cual hasta me satisface que me critiquen. Me niego a pagar 300€ por un billete de avión que normalmente vale 80€. Y me quedo más a gusto en mi casa comiendo cualquier cosa yo sola y sin un mísero adorno. Ahora, de todas las lucecitas y musiquitas por la calle, los programas cursis en la tele y mil chorradas más no me libro, claro, así que el crucero que propone @Bombilla se me antoja de lo más apetecible aunque nunca me hayan llamado la atención los cruceros, pero ya que en tierra es imposible librarse, a ver si en alta mar hay más suerte.
